1- Siwa

From Aswan, it is 230 km to the famous temple of Abu Simbel. When the large dam was built, the temple complex, which is carved out of the mountains, was in danger of being flooded by the formation of Lake Nasser. It was then that the temple was moved to higher ground.

 

9- Hurghada
